Comic book portfolio up

Fri Aug 7, 2009, 5:24 PM
I recently created some comic book sample art for my portfolio. I wrote and illustrated a 10 page story and did 3 covers as well. The comic is entitled Marvel Zooniverse, it was a concept I had of taking Spider-Ham's Universe and focusing on other characters that inhabit the universe as well. They are funny animal parodies of heroes of the Marvel U. their stories and origins would parody those of the original Marvel Universe as well. The story that I did tells the origin of Iron Mouse. I created the art using 3D modeling programs as well as 2D painting and illustrating programs. Please take a look at the art and read the story and give me your feedback.

Fan-freakin'-tastic stuff. I actually laughed out loud reading your comic...while I was admiring your modeling skills. :wow:

Hello,
I was wondering where you get the patterns for making the costume (or if you make them completely from scratch)? like for example the full bodysuit part (which could be used on many other superhero costumes.
:iconmalottpro:
Hi, I create my own patterns.
:iconforgedangel88:
so how does one create the patterns, I'm really interested in doing the whole costuming thing but wouldn't have a clue as to where to start :)

Hi Larry! You don't know me, I'm sure, but I've been admiring your costumes and artwork for years, and I was wondering why you haven't signed up on the League of Heroes or the Superhero Costume Forum, both on Yuku. There are tons of costumers there who would love to learn from you!!!! Please check them out:

Thanks Bro! I didn't realize that those forums existed until recently, I'm glad they do. I haven't done much costuming in the past couple of years but I have just begun to get back into it. I'll get over there and check it out soon. Thanks!
